What are you freakishly good at?

Alright, I don’t remember advanced calculus or anything, but I’m sure I could pick it up again with a little refresher. Shame I didn’t take advantage of this with my life choices.

Maybe that’s for you to judge… maybe not everyone ‘gets me‘.

p.s. — I’m also freakishly good at worrying. Can one be good at that? Actually, my excessive worrying probably means I’m terribly bad at it. I think being ‘good’ at worrying would be not worrying so much. Yeah… that would be good.

[Thanks to my dear friend Marquessa for this 31 questions challenge.]

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

Ooooh I wish I was freakishly good at math! It would help so much during my job! I sometimes feel like I ruining the kids I teach because I just don’t know how to explain myself or the topics very well haha

    • Not only am I good at it, but I actually love it, too. But… I could never be a teacher. I do assist my daughter when she needs it, but that’s rare… my kids are both very good at math, too. And my son is doing advanced algebra now so I’d need a bit of a refresher for that, too, I think. But he doesn’t need help. His current grade in that class is 98.

  2. So you can count on being sarcastic and then worrying about it!

    I love your sarcasm… 🙂

    • Thank you. 🙂 So do I. It’s one of the few things I like about myself. Although it does tend toward the negative so it’s probably not helping me much. I think it’s one of those things that prevents me from letting go of the negativity — without that, would my sarcasm go away? It’s a part of me I like… I don’t want to lose it.

I’m freakishly BAD at math–does that count? I wish I was good at it like you!

Yay Math! It’s great to hear someone say that they’re good at it. Most people say they’re bad at it, and… I’m going to stop before I get up on my soap box.
