thanks for that.

I know the A-to-Z challenge hasn’t even started yet, but I already want to say thank you to everyone who commented on my last post with words of encouragement. I am a struggling writer. Not in the way that I’m struggling to get published or become a famous author. (I’m not making any effort there, but if someone knows a guy, I’m not opposed.)

It’s just that writing is one of my great loves, but I have been struggling to do much of it for a long time. I assume it has to do with my deeper issues, and because of those same issues, I really need the support to do this. And I need coffee to do this. Lots of coffee.

So thanks. To you… and to the coffee makers of the world.

p.s. — I just realized as I was about to write this post that tomorrow is April 1st. And here I am editing my A post like I have days to finalize it. La la la… like I have all this time!

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy, too. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

  3. We’ve all got lots of time, it seems…right now, at least. As a loner/introvert, this distancing from people is right up my alley, but I’d give my left….something….to see a ballgame or a concert.

Anyway, like I’ve always told you, you got this. But, no matter how the writing goes, I’m just happy to have my fellow smartass back. 😉

    • I am definitely an introvert, but I think I’m only a loner because I have no choice. I have no friends to hang out with… whether I have to stay away from everyone or not. This isn’t much of a change for me in that respect. But it’s a change in that the kids are home *all* the time now so I don’t get *any* alone time at all. Not even at night. They stay up at least as late as I do. I wasn’t really doing anything valuable or worthwhile with my alone time, but still.

Thank god my husband’s company is considered ‘essential’ because if he was home, too, I think I would lose my shit. 🙂

  4. At times, writing can be a struggle. But I’m sure you’ll find your way. All the best for the challenge. Looking forward to reading your posts.
