A Look on the Brighter Side of Life
The sun WILL rise, and it WILL shine on you, and you WILL feel its warmth.
The cloud WILL dissipate, maybe slowly, but it WILL!

Must be damn slow… it’s been there for dozens of years… pretty much since my teen years.

You’ve mentioned this to me a hundred times. It makes me feel old and terrible and uncomfortable. Besides, what is bringing me down more than anything else is my apparently incurable back pain. I have had it for at least 20 years. I don’t think it’s hormone related.

When people see “hormones” they thing 2 things — teenagers and older women. God knows what people who read these comments think when they see that all the time.
To me, this blaming of hormones for everything is just like men saying women are moody because they “must have their period”.
Also, I’m sorry, but I fail to see how any of this is going to fix my 20-year-old back pain.
And finally, a huge part of what troubles me is being able to “do”. So it’s not simple like you keep telling me it is. And I am never going to stop thinking because I have a brain and I’m an intelligent woman.

I don’t know that I’d feel comfortable talking to someone on a professional/more medical level who is related to a blogging friend anyway. I realize that she should not discuss with you, but I’d feel uncomfortable the whole time.

I haven’t seen or spoken to her for 15 years.
I really love the fact that you consider me a blogging friend. That deserves an extra hug!
