A Look on the Brighter Side of Life
Who’s laughing? I can’t, hiding under the bed covers!

Haha! I think I will be afraid of the dark forever… I don’t think I’m going to outgrow it!

We aren’t truly creatures of the dark, and I think it will always make us wary. Wonderful haiku.

Thanks! Makes me wonder how I became such a night owl… 🙂

Not laughing. Especially when a spider on the ceiling above my bed is also involved…

Oh… one time in my first apartment, it wasn’t a spider overhead… it was a bat! 😬

I’d love to borrow your bat right now for the mouse in my house!

The bat situation repeated itself 4 times in that apartment. I do NOT like things that fly… not even birds or butterflies! It was traumatic for me. 🙂

Lovely!
Last year the place I was staying in was PITCH BLACK whenever the lights were out. I slept with my lamp on every night. You’re never too old, haha!

🙂 I spent a summer at this cabin that had no outdoor lights… It was SO dark. When I’d get home after dark, I’d have to take, like, 5 deep breaths and then race to the door as fast as humanly possible to get inside. Haha!

Oh gosh, yes! It’s scary when it’s so dark. I would be out and about in the middle of the night and just convinced that an axeman was loitering in the bushes somewhere. I’m too used to the lights that come with living in the city!

Guess that makes two of us! Oh, I have scary covered. I have my snarky side, my chronically depressed side, my crazy side, and my nice side. Whenever I jokingly tell people that I’m a bit weird, they usually say, “I’ve noticed” 😂

Haha. I’ve noticed. 😛 I have some of those sides, too. Yeah… crazy, anxious, depressed, sarcastic, bitchy… and also nice. I think. 🙂
