Once upon a time, she believed in magic
The awe, the splendor, and the fantastic
But he left her in confusion
He shattered the illusion
All that was beautiful turned tragic

blue hearts.

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

    I didn’t do one this week. I thought about recycling my ‘once upon a time’ from the A-Z challenge but opted to just pass. My fairy tales never have happy endings. 😦

    Beautiful , if sad limerick ( which I haven’t still figured out what is ! Thought it was some place in Ireland 😉 )
    But I’m from the school of thought of “VPub” and I still believe (just adjusted the dream a bit) 🙂

    Sadly that happens so often! Or even the other way around. It’s easier when we have such expectations, ones that are probably unrealistic and we don’t even know it. Lovely limerick.💜
