u is for undone. #atozchallenge

u is for undone.

You make me laugh
when I’m drowning in tears
You bring me calm
Until the smoke clears
You pick me up
when I fall to the ground
You light the way
When darkness surrounds
You keep secrets
I beg you not to tell
You let me scream
when I’m mad as hell
You hold me tight
when I feel alone
You put me together
when I come undone

heart swirl.

A to Z challenge — a letter a day throughout the month of April (except Sundays) until we reach z.

About what sandra thinks

Sandra began writing when she was a sixth grader. She is a teller of stories through poetry, fiction, and tales from her own life. And she thinks too much. Read, think, enjoy, laugh.

  4. Great piece of writing. I think this is the best of your alphabet poems. At the least it’s my favorite. Those opening two lines are PERFECTION.
