v is for vision.
When I walked away from you
It should have been the end
But somehow a piece of me
Never escaped your head
When you wake I’m beside you
A vision you can’t touch
When you hide away in silence
You swear you hear my voice
When your masterpiece is done
You find me on your canvas
You can’t get me off your mind
And it’s driving you mad
In your state I hate to tell you
This torture is nothing
If you think I haunt you now
Just wait ‘til I’m a ghost

About what sandra thinks
Sandra is a writer, blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy, too. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.
Especially liked that final couplet 🙂

Thank you! I almost posted those last two lines alone when I first wrote them quite some time ago.

Thank you so much. Kind of wish I knew where my brain found them! Just popped into my head one day…

Another good one! The guy that leaves you deserves to be haunted! 😉
