March 26
Would you consider yourself an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert?

Introvert. Or hermit.

p.s. — I thought about elaborating, but is there really anything else to say? We could discuss every aspect of my INFP-T personality test results, I suppose. I’m not sure how I feel about the ‘Mediator’ title. Tell me… how the fuck am I supposed to mediate anything if I’m 100% introverted? It’s a wonder I can interact with others at all. Upon further analysis, I see that I spend too much time thinking, I make decisions with my feelings, and I have pretty much no confidence in my abilities and decisions. Okay, I guess it’s pretty accurate, Mediator title notwithstanding.

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Hawaii where she could learn to surf. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

    • I’m cool with being an introvert but I’m too isolated.

            • My mom is fully vaccinated now but I’m not yet. No idea when I’m going to get to see her.

              • But you are fully distanced aren’t you? It would be totally fine for you to go see her I think! If she is vaccinated and you don’t go into high risk areas (like I’m a teacher and these kids are 70% ALL breaking the rules) you are good to go mama! Slap a mask on and speed over to her

                • But I have kids and they go to school part time. I don’t know. One of my sisters works for Pfizer and she doesn’t suggest we get together though I do not fully understand why. I thought we could have Easter together but she doesn’t think we can. I honestly don’t understand. Mom being vaccinated is the essential part. I think.

                  • Yes for sure! Mom being vaccinated is the best!

I think if you meet her with a mask its ok. Maybe not for a meal but wear a mask and it’s all good. I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be safe if your mom is fully vaccinated.

                    • I don’t either. My sister thinks all of the adults should be vaccinated before seeing each other. Easy for her to say… she works for Pfizer so has already gotten her first dose. And my other sister and her husband have their first doses this weekend (a little earlier because they work in a restaurant). I am not eligible until 4/5, and even then, it could take weeks to get an appointment.

                    • Jeez… that’s a long way away. Are you in-person in school full time?

                      Liked by 1 person

                    • Yup in person full time unless we are closed. Like we had to close twice for 2 weeks due to covid positives. And then spent all of Jan and half of Feb closed cos all schools in the province were closed. We are prepping for a closure after spring break (April 12-16) so we might be home full time again haha

                    • My kids are part time now. Supposed to go back full time starting on Apr 12. Their spring break is Apr 19-23. I have no idea what’s going to happen with infection rates once they start going full time. It’s a bit scary, as I’m sure you can relate!

                    • Oh yes for sure I can!

But what does half time mean? I teach 7 year olds so they are considered low risk for catching it so we are full time. I have a small few (3 in one section, 4 in the other) that are online full time so I’m hybrid teaching every day. But I honestly don’t mind it now that I’m used to it.

Our spring break was supposed to be March 15-19 but our government decided that since we had an extended christmas break it was ok to push it a month. But while we WERE home for an extra 6 weeks after Christmas, we were online full time. And that is HARD for littles! Like oh my gosh. My kids are falling apart right now. They are exhausted and need their break.

                    • They are in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, remote on Wednesdays and Fridays. The other half of the alphabet is in person on Wednesdays and Fridays, remote on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday everyone is remote. So the teachers are livestreaming all the time.

My kids are 13 and 16. So I’m in teenager hell.
