I don’t know if I’m starting an Android vs. iPhone sort of debate (ahem… team android)… but I have a question.
Which is better? Xbox One S or PS4?
[FYI, there would be no consideration of Xbox One X due to price…]

I did do some reading about this… and of course, there are advantages and disadvantages to both. And my son’s friends all think whatever they have is better…

The boys have a PS4. But, honestly, I think they’d rather have an XBox One. I’m not a gamer, other than a little NBA2K, so I’m not the best to ask. Hang on, I’ll ask them…..

My husband likes the Xbox for it’s 4k abilities. It supposedly has an excellent online platform, but you do have to pay to be able to play online. It’s not much. But I think mostly it’s a preference thing. Consider the games available. See if there’s one console that has more games than the other.

Youngest has PS4 that he got for Christmas. I think he likes it but I’m not crazy about the going online thing. Which is all the new systems, I guess. Good luck with this, cause the systems are so pricey and the games are, too!

Well… that’s my son’s big thing… to play online with his friends. Shooting each other and stuff. (I know… lovely.) My sister got my nephew a PS4 for Christmas… but I haven’t asked her about it.
The good thing, I think, is that my son seems to only want a couple of games. For now anyway… so that’s good. But I’m sure that will change. Of course, I don’t know how we’d pay for any of this at the moment so… I don’t even know why I’m asking these questions… lol

You’ve got the system… you probably want a second controller… my son would want a headset… have to pay a yearly fee to do the online-with-his-friends thing… and games. So yeah… Even if the system is $300…it’s more like $500… Crazy! That’s the main reason we don’t have a game system currently!!

Yep, his brother got him another controller and a game for Christmas but told him he has to wait for his birthday for more stuff.

My poor son’s birthday is in January… so both Christmas and his birthday are far away… But we may be waiting until then. I don’t know. We could get other relatives to contribute to the cause at those occasions!
