I hate the way
you lift me up…
only to let me fall
to the ground.
Maybe next time
I won’t let go…
I’ll drag you down with me
and leave you there.

A very thoughtful poem. I love your ability to convey the theme using few words! Great blog and great content 🙂

Thank you. Was out something you posted? I didn’t see it… I think WP is messing with me again… I have not gotten a few notifications I should have gotten lately… for blogs I subscribe to, I mean. I need to check what’s up. How are you?

I think it was last Friday. I’m “okay”. I was laptopless and cellphone less for the past days. I’ll DM you tomorrow.

Yeah… I found that I didn’t have notifications for a bunch of your posts… I missed them all. Stupid WP. But I got a notification today so hopefully it’s all good now.
No laptop and no phone? I can’t even imagine that. I might lose my mind!

Revenge…..one of my favorite topics…..I felt this one big time. Outstanding piece Sandra!

Thanks. ♥ Revenge makes me feel stronger than just caving in. Not that I put that into practice in real life, though…

wouldn’t that be fun. to take those who bring us down on the journey as well.
It’s a great concept the idea of romantic revenge.
It never works but you make it seem so charmingly elegant in this piece 😄

Ahaha… thanks… and I do have to agree. It doesn’t really work. I think it would feel good for a short time but in the end, it wouldn’t stop my sadness and anger over the relationship…

Nothing will ever stop that. not even the great healer they call time.
Short term highs always fade. Revenge is a powerful motivator but doesn’t truly fulfil
…. unless ofc you hire an assassin to kill the one who wronged you and they you and the assassin fall madly in love and spend the rest of your lives together.

Well, now, that would make for a great story. Perhaps I should write it. I’d give you credit for the concept, of course. 😀

It definitely could. I’m sure someone’s got there first but your wild imagination could craft something rather spectacular… and murdery 😄

Murdery can be fun. In fiction I mean. Fiction!! 😀 Yeah… probably every story’s been told before… but not by me…
