Writing is a craft. I practice it here. Stellar stuff. Mediocre stuff. Don't bother stuff.

Awww! Man…. but good writing, Sandra. You’re back on track!

Thanks… I hope so but other than little bits of poetry, I’m still pretty useless… and in a crappy mood, just in case that wasn’t obvious…

Little bits of poetry are a good start. It’s those negative emotions that sometimes (most times) stir the creative pot. Vent onto the page. Unless of course its going to make you feel worse… Anyway, it has to feel a little good that you’re writing again.

Yeah… I’m glad I’ve been able to write a little… I just still feel… wrong. Not sure how to explain it…

Honestly I think the season contributes to it. Like the conversation over Thanksgiving. It’s a stressful time of year. And not always joyful for everyone. Despite what Hallmark tries to sell us. 😒

I’m sure it does. I am having trouble dealing with people who are all joyful and shit lately. Adults, I mean… not kids.

I know what you mean. I wonder how much of that is forced, though. I pretend to be happy just so I don’t have to answer questions or listen to advice. 🙂

I’m sure some of it is forced… I’m terrible at that!

I’ve had plenty of practice. I swear every job I’ve ever had was dealing with the public: bank teller, waitress, retail manager, and now chiropractor. What the hell was I thinking? I should have been a researcher or something without people all day every day! Lol!

That’s what I need. Something where I’m not interacting with lots of people…!

Safely hidden behind the anonymity of a glowing screen! 😀

Yes… But I’m not sure my current total isolation is good for me… Somewhere in between, I guess…

Yeah, a little human contact but a way to get away from it some of the time!

I’ve never understood why great art comes from dark places. Seems like such a dichotomy. That said, I’m glad to your mojo has found its way home. 😊

Kind of. Don’t get excited! I don’t feel fully “back”. Hell, the other stuff is really bringing me down… that might help my writing or make it worse. It’s hard to write when one can’t see the screen through tears, you know?

Aw man, I’m so sorry. If you ever want to take me up on the card with a couple little “gifts” in it, you let me know. 😕

Thanks… you’re very sweet. And I did not forget about that offer… I’ll let you know for sure. 🙂

Might help a bit. Say the word, and it’ll be on the way. 😊
