you knew
I needed you
before I ever
asked you
for anything
and I will
always remember
the way
you made me feel
when you fixed me
when you gave me
the power
to finally say
I am not broken
anymore

A Look on the Brighter Side of Life
I like the tone of this one! Dare I say, it seems…optimistic? 😃

It’s also fiction. Although I guess there may have been a couple of times in my life that someone came through for me… it’s just never taken away the “broken” for long enough…

Fiction or not, it’s a good thought. Surely more than just a couple of times? 😕

Maybe… but I can’t remember… it’s been a very long time since someone just showed up when I needed him…

That bums me out. You’re due that to happen then. 😕

It bums me out, too. I’m due for a lot of things to happen… but you know how lucky and fortunate I am… (stupid curse…)

I have a friend from NOLA. She practices voodoo. Want me to ask her about casting a spell or something to remove this curse?

Yes! As long as you’re sure it won’t backfire and make things worse!! Also… are you being serious?

Yep. I’m serious. She lived in the apartment below me when I lived there years ago. One thing led to another…you know. But anyway, we’re still friends. Going into her apartment was a bit….scary. But yes, she’s into the potions and offerings, etc. Let’s put it this way: I wouldn’t piss her off. 😃

No, I don’t know… Explain it to me… Hahaha 😃 I admit I’m a little scared… you know… I wouldn’t want things to get worse…!

I look at it the same way I do the paranormal or Native American rituals, etc. I don’t know if it’s real or not…but I sure as hell am not going tempt it or piss someone off the practices it. 😃

I have no idea where it came from… other than me being lost in fiction again… ❤

Whether fiction, or not, this optimism is a good start. Link that to the push ups and, hey presto, you’re on the up and up.

I think I’m going to need quite a lot of time for those push ups. My upper body strength is serially lacking… 🙂

This really hit me. The person that helped me years ago probably doesn’t know they helped me recently. Thank you for this beautiful post.

Thank you! People who do amazing things for you without even realizing they’re doing them… they’re really hard to find. I’m not even sure they can be found — I think they have to just magically appear…
