Thank you… I think the word you may be looking for is ‘sappy’… ♥

Nothing wrong with being sappy. 😊

Oh no… there isn’t. It’s based in fiction, of course. For me, I mean. But no, I have no problem with sappy. It’s who I am. 🙂

It really is just that simple at times, isn’t it? Why we complicate it, as humans, is quite the mystery. 😊

I’m pretty sure I’ve never experienced this simplicity. I blame my brain. And the universe as a whole. LOL 🙂

Oh, that damn universe! It’s like it conspires against us sometimes, no? I’d never felt that simplicity either, until I met her. It was there immediately. I took it as a good sign, even though I did my best to fuck it up anyway. Even broke up with her once….though it was only for about 36 hours. Pathetic, I know. 😏

Well, you’re damn lucky. I think most people never have that. I sure as hell don’t. The worst part is knowing I never will. I often write from the perspective of my fictional characters. That’s how I wrote this. It is most definitely not from personal experience.

I’m well aware of how lucky, fortunate, blessed, whatever one wants to call, that we are. It does seem to be rare. I hate to say it, but I don’t think I could name 5 couples I know personally who have it. Why did I find it? Nary a clue. Believe me, I was no angel, and I’m still not, to some degree. I sure as hell don’t think I earned it or deserved it. The universe works in mysterious ways. I hate hearing you say that. I generally have a never say never attitude. But one of my best friends and my wife’s best friend, who are both my age and perpetually single, have each told us the same thing. I’d tell you to never say never, but I’m sure that sounds as hollow as can be. I feel guilty about going on and on about my relationship with my wife. I think sometimes I should just keep it to myself.

Don’t feel guilty! It’s nice to know it exists. My fiction isn’t totally fabricated crap! 🙂 Seriously… don’t feel bad. If I had it, I’d probably talk about it, too. 🙂

Told ya’ we were a bit nauseating. 😏

Well, yeah, you are. I’m not going to argue. 😛

I know, I know. That’s what I was saying. Maybe I should just shut up about it. 😃

It’s okay… like I said, I’m not sure I’d shut up about it if it was me… 🙂

Maybe I’ll just tone it down a notch then. 😜

Oh, trust me, you’re not the first person who thought we were nauseating. 😜

Thanks. Oh… all sorts of things going on… it seems the schools like to cram a whole bunch of things in as we get closer to the end of the school year… and my own stuff… and my husband is a pain in the ass, but you already know that… and some other family stuff… and I’m working on new fiction… hopefully I can keep up…

Right, the end of the year is crazy for all my friends who are parents. Add in the rest and it’s total insanity. At least everything is getting green. Looking forward to your new fiction!
