I run,
chasing feelings
I thought out of my grasp.
Is it possible I was wrong?
Maybe.
I speed,
racing the world
for a prize I covet.
Is it possible I will win?
Unclear.
I fall,
stumbling on
my own feet, my own words.
It is possible I’m not hurt?
Doubtful.
I try,
lifting myself
dusting off, wiping tears.
Is it possible I’ll catch up?
Unsure.
I yield,
admit defeat
another loss for me.
Is it possible I was right?
Despair.

Not never… The worries part, well…. I suppose there are always things we will worry about. Even without “reason” for it. Worry and fear is unique to each person. The answer lies in learning to cope/manage it. I’ll let you know when I figure that out myself… 😦

Thanks Al. I’m getting a bit nauseated on this ride. It’s like being on a roller coaster blindfolded so you have no idea what’s coming up next… hill or dip… twist or turn… right-side-up or upside-down. Totally random with no rhyme or reason. (And I love roller coasters… But I keep my eyes open…) Thanks again for the hug. xo

When I read that, the first part came out as “She sounds hideous”… but you probably don’t have that “Jake from State Farm” commercial over there. Anyway, thanks for being a friend. That’s the thing with the unpredictable roller coaster… I could be on top of the world tomorrow. Or later today. Or in ten minutes. One never knows…

I do get really sick to my stomach on swings… so these mood swings suck! Maybe in an hour, I’ll be great! And who knows what’ll happen after that!?! 🙂

Wow, it’s a powerful piece that speaks volumes. “I run chasing feelings, I thought out of my grasp” It’s like she has ten but they’re just a finger tips away! I can feel this one. She’s tired but she keep running, keeps trying because they’re RIGHT THERE but they feel so far gone. Awesome work, stunning!
