always she searched
life’s endless maze
for her one love
the man to fill her days
She worried
her cries would
scare him away
but she was wrong
because he heard
and quieted her wails
and now he is

Oh, in my head, it’s fiction… which is why I changed it to “she” instead of what I originally had… “I”…

For some reason, it’s easier for me to write in first person, even when it’s fiction…

Oh, it was easier… I wrote the whole thing that way… Then I changed it. With fiction, I like to write in third person so I can write things that are happening that the “I” character wouldn’t know about. Sometimes. 🙂

True, that’s harder to work in. I have to practice more in third person. Thanks!

Everything I ever wrote for years was in first person. But someone, about 15 years ago… Suggested that I take a short story or piece of a longer one and change the voice. It was amazing how more than pronouns changed…without me even realizing it. But… in some cases, first person all the way!

I have never written much fiction before, more articles. So I’ll gladly take any suggestions. I’ll try writing that way some, thanks much xxoo

A is for “always” – another one that didn’t make the cut? 🙂 Aww! it’s good!

Yeah. But I refrained from stamping “reject” at the bottom of this post… I thought it would kill the mood… And thanks!

Thanks 🙂 It’s kind of easy to write stuff like this with my ridiculous idealism!

This is beautiful. I think that there is an urge to tone yourself down when you meet someone new. The right person will love you always. Great post.
I look forward to more of you stuff. Following you now 🙂
