weekly perk. #14 (w is for…)

weekly perk.

A second post for w… because…

w is for weekly perk.

When I realize I don’t need something anymore,
having it feels better than it ever did before.
Maybe because when I need it,
I’m constantly worrying about
whether or not I’m going to lose it
because I think I cannot live without it.

But when I have it…
yet know I can live happily without it,
it’s like, bonus happy.
And I just decided that
bonus happy
is a very dirty term that I shall continue to use
in everyday conversation.

Look at all those w’s. Woo!

Perky. It melts in your mouth not in your hand.

A to Z challenge — a letter a day throughout the month of April (except Sundays) until we reach z.

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.
