Even as she basks in sunshine
She craves the darkness of night
Though at home by the water
She fears the shark’s bite
From above she enjoys the view
But can’t calm her fear of heights
She tries not to think so much
But her imagination runs wild
She apologizes too often
Even when she knows she’s right
She has no doubt she can win
But she doesn’t want to fight
She adores romance of course
But must indulge her sinful side
She’s full of contradictions
It could be hell or paradise
And if she takes you for a ride
You’d better hold on tight…

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.
