I made an inappropriate version of my Xmas card one year. It was a big hit. It had ornament-type things on it and it said “Oh balls… It’s Christmas.” Or something like that. I really wanted to say “it’s fucking Christmas” but I’m pretty sure I ended up editing that out. I forget the exact words…

So cute!! As I get older, I hate making gift lists more and more. Is it ok to just put “1 million dollars” on the list and call it a day? I don’t even need that much! That’s just a nice round number everyone likes to see lol

I hate making lists, too. Then people want one for each kid and one for my husband, too. Ugh. I will just take the money. And I need way more than a million. But… I don’t want Christmas morning to be depressing either so I have to come up with something. It sucks. Just one of the reasons I hate Christmas…

In our family we need to have lists out by Nov 1st but the men (dad and bro) need to be threatened a few times before we try lists. I’m kind of over the whole gift giving ness of the season. Maybe next year I can band with my brother and convince the parents to just skip it. Or only do stockings? It’s just too much.
And I could be ok with like $50,000 lol I could pay off all my student loans, buy a car, go on a vacation, and then save some (depending on the car and vacation haha)

I want all the money. LOL It has been a source of stress for quite some time. Without that work, I would be a happier person. So I guess it does buy happiness!

Haha I keep seeing these memes like “whoever said money doesn’t fix problems lied. I have 75 problems and literally every single one could be fixed by money” or “I’ve got 99 problems and money would fix all of them” or something like that. Money definitely would solve a few of mine. I think that maybe money doesn’t buy happiness, BUT it does eliminate stress or obstacles which then results in happiness?
