I’ve done a few pages… and I have been given a few books. But some of them are such complex designs that it would take me days to finish just one page. I hate that! I want to finish a page in one sitting. Funny… it’s supposed to be relaxing but instead, it stresses me out! Story of my damn life.

I think I just see so much talent that I realize how not-so-talented I really am! It’s totally different when compared to any of my sisters, for example. But in this world… holy crap!

I do know what you mean… I started following some artists on instagram and its positively humbling to see some of the stuff these people are doing! But talent and perfection are not the same thing. So much of art is subjective. So don’t be so hard on yourself!

Aw, that’s very sweet of you to say. But every artist has a unique approach and style. That makes it impossible to say one person’s art is ‘better’ than another’s. 🙂

My mom uses markers but I much prefer pencils. 🙂 I was really into the coloring for a while… then I stopped… maybe I’ll get back into it… God knows I’m not leaving the house today since it’s, like, 4 degrees… never mind the wind!

We’re starting to warm up, all the way to 27 today, I think. I’m unbelievably excited that it should be in the 40s at the end of the week. Gives you hope that it won’t last forever!

Hahaha. This is from an adult coloring book… and I have others… I think I posted some others I colored once… quite a while ago. And yes, adult coloring book always sounds like something else entirely. They make those, too, by the way. 😏
