I really like the idea of snow blowing my driveway, only to have those 50 MPH winds blow it right back.

Pun intended? 😀 BTW, I just got a new snowblower last month. I sprayed it down with teflon, and the thing throws snow and none of it sticks. Yay me! Ahem. Sorry about that. Yeah, snow sucks. 😀

Ugh. I’d be more concerned about the flooding than the snow. How much are y’all supposed to get? I know my beloved Ocracoke was supposed to get some of that too.

I’m not usually directly impacted by flooding… But anyway… we are supposed to get 10-15 inches… ❄

That’s a lot of snow. Two years ago, we got 2 that size, or deeper. It sucked for about two weeks because it just wouldn’t fucking melt. I’m sure your kids are hyped about it . Y’all stay safe. 😊

Oh yeah… barely back to school and now they’ll be out again… at least tomorrow for sure… don’t know about Friday. Ours won’t melt either since it’s so flipping cold… and we still have a layer of ice and snow from last time. It sucks!

Yeah… photos. I’m dying to be out there in blizzard conditions. 😛 It’s supposed to end tomorrow night, I think. Wonder if it will still look nice Friday morning…?
The kids can have hot chocolate. I’ll just be drinking up all the coffee in the house. Oooh… I just remembered I made sure to have ingredients to bake chocolate chip cookies last week as a potential vacation activity… but we never made them. Hmm.

I have only ever made a small batch when I’m home alone… and hid the remains in the fridge until the kids were asleep… lol

I’m serious! I’ve even asked their doc to X-ray their legs and abdomens to see if they’re hollow or have an extra stomach. Can’t buy groceries fast enough! 😳

My son does eat a lot, too. And he’s so skinny. What the hell? Those are not my genes! No way in hell I could eat like he eats. Actually, I wouldn’t want to. He’s so picky… he eats too much junk. And he had a cheeseburger for breakfast thus morning. lol I’m a bad parent. 😃

Hahaha! No, that doesn’t make you a bad parent. At least he had something in his belly. My boys are are thin too. I tell to enjoy being able to eat whatever and however much they want. That doesn’t last forever. 😃😃

Yes… My husband used to be like that… but no more. And WTF? I’m in great shape compared to when I met him… but he went in the opposite direction… 😛 He’s a bad influence on the kids!

Tell me about it. I mean, it’s not like I try to stay in shape for him… I do it for me. But he doesn’t make much of an effort. Totally bugs me!

According to my wife, I can lose 10lbs in a week just by giving up a soft drink each day, so I suppose I’m sorta lucky in that regard. But, for most guys I assume, it doesn’t take that much effort to be in good shape. Maybe not ripped, but in good shape, ya’ know? 😕

Today it was 29 (F)… it seemed warm-ish. Which is ridiculous. I do think this storm is going out to sea after it hits us… 🙂

It’s supposed to hit us too. I’m more worried about the high winds! 50 mph! And subzero temperatures. I think the snow is only going to be 3-6 for us. Batten down the hatches. 😱

But I can say, that I’m more concerned about the flooding too.
10-15 inches here isn’t abnormal for a winter storm, but the winds seem pretty high and the threat of flooding could be bad.
But yes, let’s build a snowman! 😀 😀 😀

Yeah… the snow amount doesn’t bother me as much as the wind… and flooding sucks but it never impacts me directly. But wind… can cause power outages… which would really blow. Ha!
I bet it will be so cold that the snow won’t be wet and sticky enough to even make snowballs… boo!
