What is a spring house? Also… I have no idea what it is but it was in the middle of the cemetery… and I thought it was cool. 🙂 I wasn’t happy with the age of most of the stones there… only a few old 1800s ones… most were too new for my liking…

Hahaha. A spring house is a building built over a fresh water spring or well. It’s a cool building, whatever it’s for. At a cemetery, I’d guess just storage. I’m surprised there weren’t older stones there. Go figure. 😃

That’s a great shot. And even cooler now that I see it’s in an old cemetery! I could wander for hours looking at old grave stones. Ok, maybe hours is an exaggeration, but you know what I mean. Fires the imagination!

Thank you! I was disappointed with the stones at this one. There weren’t enough old ones. I just happened to be near this one today. I have a few favorites… I need to go to some of them. It’s been a while…
