not my favorite spot.

Before I got terrible news today, I went for a drive. I couldn’t go to my favorite spot on the water… but I went to one. It’s much better at high tide, but that was not to be… not today.

I took a few pictures… most of them suck. But here are a few anyway…

From the other side of the road…

I wish one of those boats was mine…

This is old and heavy…

Far, far away on the left… you can see the city…

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

I relate to the anchor, old and heavy. I need to get out more. I need to think more about things I don’t think about often enough. Thanks for reminding me.
