This (I mean last) week’s theme for Haylee’s Moodle Army was ‘look back‘.
Well… I’m late. I think I was supposed to post this before 4pm local time. It’s well after midnight… but I’m just going to post it anyway. Because… why not? (And because I seem to be having a posting drought…)
I never did come up with anything good for this theme… I guess that’s why I’ve missed the deadline. I kind of hate looking back at my life. Big parts of it, anyway. What needs to happen, for me, is forgetting the past. I dwell on it far too often. It creeps in and ruins my days and steals my nights. So… I didn’t want to overthink this… I just went literal…
(It reminds me of Daria… not her specifically, but someone from that show. FYI, for the younger readers… Daria was an animated TV series made for MTV a long time ago… like, 20-ish years ago… and it was/is one of my favorite shows…)

It was, from what I recall. It was what, from the early 90’s? I don’t remember much from that time period…not vividly at least. 😃

Gotcha. Memories from them are a bit sketchy too, but that was bearing the end of serious partying days. From 2002 on, I was a good boy…relatively speaking. 😃

Oddly enough, I can recite whole episodes of Beavis and Butthead as well as Ren and Stimpy. Go figure. 😏

I remember those, too. I never got into B and B but the Daria character originated there. Different people made Daria but yeah… a version of her began there. I used to watch Ren & Stimpy. Ha! High fashion log for girls… Don’t pee on the electric fence. 😄

Hahaha! “You can’t sell rubber nipples! You can’t even piss by yourself!”. Ren and Stimpy was comedy gold now. B and B was more of a guy thing I think. I don’t know that I ever met any female that was a fan of it. 😃

Yeah, I’m better off not looking back, either. It sends me down the path of ‘if only’ and that’s not good for me. Love the doodle, and though I remember Daria, I don’t think I ever watched the show.
