cold.

asleep

In the cold
I am consumed
with dreams of you
next to me
surrounding me
in your warm arms
whispering of love
your breath so close
I feel your heat
on my skin
and I sigh
because finally
for a moment
the cold is gone
and then

I open my eyes
and freeze

About what sandra thinks

Sandra began writing when she was a sixth grader. She is a teller of stories through poetry, fiction, and tales from her own life. And she thinks too much. Read, think, enjoy, laugh.
