my own.

sleep girl.

At night
My broken heart
Falls asleep in denial
Craving the life of another
But deep inside my dreams
Every drop of your love is real
And I wish for no life
But my own

About what sandra thinks

Sandra began writing when she was a sixth grader. She is a teller of stories through poetry, fiction, and tales from her own life. And she thinks too much. Read, think, enjoy, laugh.

I think sometimes, we all want someone else’s life. It’s easy not to see the burdens and issues each individual in life, each carry. Our burdens are our own and I think, dealing with what we’re given, means we are the best person for the job. But I also see, how we can have two opinions on the matter. Loving parts and hating others. That’s pretty human I’d say πŸ™‚ great poem.
