the feeling. a poem by sandra.

Whenever you’re near
I get the feeling
My heart pounding
My mind reeling
My breathing rapid
My senses heightened
I lose control
I’m almost frightened
~♦~
You overwhelm me
With your every word
And when you whisper
Oh, how my insides stir
You make me tremble
And forget how to speak
Your smile is contagious
Your touch makes me weak
~♦~
I try gasping for air
I try closing my eyes
But I still feel you
Consuming my insides
It’s time to confess
My love sweet and wicked
I cannot go without
I’m hopelessly addicted
swish.
