to bed.

to bed. a poem by sandra.

I found a place to go
When I need to take it slow.
All of my worries fade,
All my decisions are made.

I will share it with you
But, please, whatever you do
Don’t let my secret spread.
Come with me. Let’s go to bed.

[We won’t need to count sheep
Because we don’t have to sleep.
Oh, honey stop playing
You know just what I’m saying.]

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Hawaii where she could learn to surf. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

    • Thank you so much for the lovely compliment and for recognizing me with this. I’ve decided not to participate in blogging awards any longer. [It began to take up too much time when I should be writing!] But I do appreciate the sentiment very much.
