I’m not really internet famous… but Grizz thinks I am.

Today… this happened…

I won’t lie — I knew I was close and I’ve been checking every day. I thought it would be lovely if I reached this milestone before the year ended… and tonight, I did. [Okay, technically yesterday since it’s after midnight here…]

Of course, I realize anyone could unfollow me at any time so that number could drop. But I still reached it! And I’m kind of amazed. My personal crap, my life stories, my fiction, and, God, even my poetry — Is it really entertaining? Most days, I still can’t believe that. [Then some days, I’m oddly cocky and think I’m pretty awesome with words…]

Whatever makes you visit… and revisit — thanks for being here. [And please do tell me what keeps you coming back — it matters to me!]

Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black.     Congratulations! 200 followers is a lot (although I do notice on the sidebar you actually have 218 followers right now).

    I keep coming back because:

    a) I’m looking out for Fiction Friday (which is technically Fiction Saturday where I live).
    b) Your stories are funny/ inspiring.
    c) You’re a kind person who visits my blog.
    d) You always reply thoughtfully and sincerely to my comments on your blog posts.

    I can’t believe you are maintaining that modesty of yours 😉

      The sidebar includes my [pathetic] number of twitter followers… which is why it’s higher. I was confused about that, too… until I figured it out!

      Thanks for the kind words and for telling me why you come here — I love to know this stuff!

      I can’t let the modesty go… I mean, what’s the alternative? Self-absorbed snotty bitch? 🙂 That’s really just not me. Usually. 😉

        Yeah, modesty is good in most cases. But you’re allowed to saw “I’m awesome” every one in a while 🙂

          I don’t even know how I have 18 twitter followers. I am barely there… though this blog is linked.

          I try to say (and believe) that I’m awesome every now and then. Maybe someday I’ll actually have confidence! [This reminds me of a new weekly feature I wanted to start… so thanks! :)]

          I think I did take your poll — and I don’t want to skew your results, but I just took it again just in case my memory is failing me (common problem!).

          When I tried to get people to give feedback in a poll / form thing, I got about 2 or 3 responses total! I think around that time I had less than 100 followers. I think you’re response rate is better! It is sad!

    I agree with Tiegan x when I started blogging I looked for blogs which moved me to laughter, thoughtfulness and tears – that’s what I find in your writing 😊 well done xxx

    YAY!!! Congrats! I too had been hoping to cross 200, before 2016 began.. but I am 196. It’s good enough 🙂 I am happy 🙂 although would love it if I do get 5 followers in the next couple of hours. Highly unlikely, though!
