thought for the day.

If I find joy in nothing else today, at least I have the dude at the Dunkin drive-thru who has a sexy-ass voice.

p.s. — And this post just proves that I’m still alive. I know you’ve been spending all your time wondering. And you know that’s some serious sarcasm because I really don’t think that highly of myself.

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Hawaii where she could learn to surf. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

  1. My day is so much better for reading your post. What have you been up to?

  2. Don’t be like that. The Dunkin Dude rehearsed his words over and over again just waiting for you …. and you dismiss him as a passing fancy. Sometimes it’s not what Sandra says, but what she doesn’t say.

    • You’re right. He undoubtedly prepares himself for my visits. I should probably give him a big tip.

He even called me ‘sweetheart’ when he handed me my coffee. Which is probably disturbing, now that I over think it, considering his age and mine. I’m going to hell… if such a place exists.
