The other night when my daughter was on her phone with one of her friends, he sent her a few pictures of his home. I’m not sure what led to him sending them, but she had to show me. I watched as she scrolled through the pictures… huge kitchen… beautiful yard… two balconies… perfect hardwood floors… and all sorts of other things… including a giant indoor pool.
‘Isn’t it amazing?‘ she asked me.
‘Yes…’ I said, ‘I think you should marry him!‘
…
[Please, no hate. Of course I was just being funny…]

Right now, I think I might go for it on money alone.
No, I wouldn’t. But still…

I hear ya’. Money does make some things easier, I suppose. Car breaks down? Eh. Pay the man. But, it isn’t gonna solve every problem. Just look at all the people lost to depression, and many of them seemed to have it all, including tons of cash. My buddy, that committed suicide years ago, seemed to have everything going for him. Great education, job, owned a home, young, nice car, etc. None of it mattered, obviously.
Now, that said, I sure as fuck wouldn’t turn down a lottery win. 😃

But… a lot of my stress and anxiety and probably even depression is because of financial worries. If I didn’t have those worries, life wouldn’t be perfect but it would be better than it is now. I’d still have depression as it is my illness, but I wouldn’t have the stress and anxiety… and I’d be better able to deal with the depression. People who already have money have already handled any financial worries. I don’t know if I’m making sense. I’m just saying… shortage of money makes my life worse in almost every way. Having lots would definitely mean a huge improvement…

I get it. Watched my mom struggle for years after my parents divorced. It does add stress exponentially. I don’t know anyone who’d rather not have money. 😃

First I would want to know 1) can he really afford it, or is it all on credit cards? and 2) who takes care of it all–maids, etc.–and if the guy has kids with them like Arnold Schwarzenegger–

Hm… those are all important points to consider. I guess it’s really all about his parents at this point since the kid is only 10… 🙂

But still, does he personally have hedge funds, or is he a slacker…? These things matter!

Remains to be seen, I guess!

You are funny! But seriously, maybe they are really miserable despite all that wealth. Yeah, right….

I don’t think the kid is, like, the happiest kid on earth or anything. But when he is in a bad mood… he can go for a swim. Even in January. 😀

I’d like to make a few small changes. I don’t like the tile used for the kitchen backsplash. Not that I should be so picky… LOL
