When I don’t know what to say
I hope you remember
those times when I did
When I had all the right words
and I could make you smile
even when you cried
When nothing more than a hug
took all the pain away
When nothing would ever
be wrong again
simply because
of love

Today, this poem is for my daughter… but on another day, it might be for someone else. I was torn as to whether or not I should include the photo above because I prefer to allow the reader his/her own interpretation… not mine… not necessarily mother and daughter.

This is wonderful. The most important interpretation is yours and I love the image you chose. Did you share this with your girl? 💗

Thank you. ♥ I did not share it with her… I think she will roll her eyes and tell me I’m too sappy. And she wouldn’t be wrong… 🙂

Aw! She might do that but she’ll love it anyway! (And she’ll remember it fondly when she’s older) 😉

Maybe I’ll just save it for her… 🙂

It’s so good. Save these things for when your little girl grows up, I know she will love it. I have a recipe for banana bread that my dad wrote out and I keep it because it’s in his handwriting!

I’ve got a few things like you’re recipe, too. I love to save those things… 🙂

Could you maybe not reblog my entire blog on yours? I worked hard on my original content and would rather it not fill someone else’s blog. Thank you for your kindness.
