song of the day. #57 #music

I was going to post this song a few days ago but I got distracted.

Today I heard that the artist was found dead at the age of 28. Little additional information is available. Tragic.

Wake Me Up | Avicii

So wake me up when it’s all over
When I’m wiser and I’m older
All this time I was finding myself
And I didn’t know I was lost

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

  1. He had to retire in 2016 due to ill health and had just started to release new mixes. So many aspired to be like him, little understanding the extreme pressures he was under, sometimes travelling between continents overnight just for a party gig! Sad!

  2. That’s sad to hear. My boys love this song. He was so young, it’s just such a shame. 😕
