This is a terrible nighttime photo… but just to show how deep the snow was by the end of Thursday’s storm…
Went for a drive yesterday. It was disappointing since none of the trees were snow-covered. It was (and still is) far too windy for that. But it was a nice time of day for the drive… sun started to set…
This is just a little pile of snow. And when I say little, I mean huge…
And I had to add this non-snow photo… because I love this car so much…

It’s kind of ridiculous since we usually get our worst snow between now and March, and it’s too cold for any of it to melt! Suddenly, the roads are narrower… I think they need to replow. 😃

Where in the country do you live? I’m here in New Jersey and where we live, we were lucky to dodge the bullet with only eight inches, but the winds are horrific. I can’t wait for it to warm up next week. 🙂

I live in Massachusetts… the Boston area. Crazy amounts of snow… 16-18 inches in most areas around here. Thankfully, I was not the one shoveling… or plowing. I was the one sitting inside with my coffee and blanket. 🙂 It’s still way too cold and windy. This morning it was around 4 degrees… but the winds have calmed a little and it’s feeling a little warmer. (Scary that about 10 degrees is “warmer”!)

Just think, come Monday when it gets near the 30’s, we can wear shorts again! Yay! LOL! 🙂

It was windy and there were snow drifts everywhere. But it was about 16-18 inches according to the weatherman.
It’s not so bad except how narrow the roads seem… they need to plow wider on some streets. Slackers. It’s also not so bad for me because I wasn’t doing any of the shoveling or snow-blowing. 😛

Good show! I usually shovel, but this snow was so cold and fluffy, H took care of it with the leaf blower!

Wow! That’s a fair amount of snow.
I love the snow but I’ve never experienced it like that. Living near the coast it just never settles on the ground. too much salt in the air… plus you know the whole it’s raining all the time already.

Yes… the rain. This was a big storm for us but not at all uncommon. I’m near the coast, too, but the east coast of the US can get lots of snow. Want me to send you some? I’ve got plenty… 😛

We never get anything like that here. Inland UK can get heavy snow but it never seems to reach me.
I’ll happily take some. Enough to build a stereotypical igloo… oh and a snowman… and dog
