on loneliness.

This was adapted from a conversation between two characters from my ‘secret book’… I think they’re my favorite characters I’ve ever created…

loneliness

loneliness sucks.
and time
makes it worse…
not better.
you can’t fix it by yourself.
you feel powerless.
it just…
sucks.

and you don’t
have to be
alone
to feel it.

About what sandra thinks

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

  4. Aw yes, beautiful and sad. Don’t you love it when your characters feel so real?

The worst kind of loneliness is the kind when you’re not actually alone. However, soemtimes you have to torment your characters a little bit … knowing that you have the power to fix everything!
