First thing…
Yes, YouTube. I want to ‘skip ad’. Who the fuck doesn’t want to ‘skip ad’?

Second thing…
“We make our own luck” is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.
luck (noun): success or failure brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions
By definition, one cannot ‘make’ luck. It just happens. Or doesn’t happen. Or is bad.

Thing three…
I appreciate the thought… but my husband needs to stop buying me ‘a little treat’ because he knows I’d like said treat. Hell, I like most treats… which is why I don’t need them in my face… even if they’re only available ‘for a limited time‘. I mean, truly they are fucking delicious, but I don’t need my thighs getting any more um… delicious… because I will eat that whole damn package.

Another thing…
If you shoot me with your Nerf gun, you should not be surprised when I shoot back. (With my Nerf gun. Probably.)

Next thing…
Do not get fucking irritated with me for asking you the same thing a million times. If you listened or answered or took action the first time, I would never speak of it again. Obviously, you are irritated with you… not me.

And another thing…
I really cannot stand the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Then this thing…
This morning (well, Friday morning… it’s Saturday now), I finally outwitted the hopeless, useless part of my brain (for a little while, anyway) and called two employment agencies. I was transferred to voicemail for one of them and the dude never called me back. But I’m meeting with the other one on Tuesday. This may go nowhere. But it was a huge accomplishment for fucked-up me to take this step… to make the call. I know, it sounds like nothing to the rest of the world. ‘So what? You made a phone call. What’s the big deal?‘ But for me, as pathetic as it sounds, this was a big deal.

Final thing…
Seth Meyers is way better than Jimmy Fallon.

    Jimmy Fallon has really gone south. His shtick is wearing thin. OMG I can’t stand the peppers, and I’m a bassist. I must get that nerf gun, but only after I watch my favor compilation of awesome you tube videos called ‘don’t skip this’.

    Yes! To the phone call!!! Best of luck with a call back! That’s awesome! 😃 I’m never up for any of the late night shows so I have no idea… but I kinda like the chili peppers, not love, just like. I would be a menace with a nerf gun. We have big water guns for the pool!!! 😈

    Eeeeeekkkkkkk…..I love every single thing about this post and I agree with almost all of it! Notice I said almost? Jimmy Fallon….sigh…..he’s so beautiful! Yeah, I’m kinda over his show but he doesn’t have to talk…I just want to look at him. That’s all. I know, creep much? Yeah, obviously I do. And…for the job thing??? I’m soooo fucking proud of you! Yeah, it’s a call and an appointment and that’s fucking huge! That’s my girl!

      You’re so funny… 😃 It’s definitely his show that’s made me like Jimmy Fallon less. I still enjoy some of it… but some of the stuff he does has gotten old. I wish he’d do slap poker more often… 😄

      I really don’t know if anything is going to come out of this appointment… and I’m still shocked I was able to make it. I hope it goes alright… I suck at ‘people’… like, talking to them. (Yes, I said I suck AT people… not I suck people. Although… given the right man…)

    SOOO proud of you for making the calls. Don’t discount the appointment; it might work out for you. I hope it works out for you! And yes, Fallon used to be good, back in the day. Now hubs and I watch Stephen Colbert instead. Well, he does. I go to bed 🙂

      I like Stephen, too. During the Olympics, I watched him and James Corden… I liked James, too. He’s really funny. ☺

    I hear you on the treats. The hubs is incapable of buying “just one” so if I like one, he comes home with THREE BOXES. You know…to “stock up.” WHICH JUST MAKES ME FAT. lol
