My phone died last night. I swear, it is a fucking tragedy. A nightmare. I can’t be without it. Damn, my son’s activities change so often that I never know when he’ll text me with a new time to pick him up. And that’s just the most important of about 300 reasons why being without my phone is a huge catastrophe.
Also… I noticed that WordPress randomly unfollowed some of the blogs I follow. If you haven’t seen me around in your comments like I usually am, feel free to contact me or comment below and let me know so I can check if WP is fucking with me even more. Of course, stress has been at an all-time high so I haven’t been around as much anyway. Sigh.
I’m sure there was something else I meant to put in this post… but I have no idea what the fuck it was.
Love you. No, not you, shitty technology.
Hope your day/week/year gets better. I am having issues with WordPress closing at any random moment when I’m writing posts and inserting pictures so I understand the frustration. It only happens when I’m using my laptop which is old – so I’m unsure if the laptops about to die or if it’s just WP – the only program that causes this to happen. Hope things prove and that someone does something extraordinarily nice for you today!! Take care

Thanks very much. I’ve heard about weird issues with WP like those you mentioned… so I bet it’s not your laptop!

I hope it starts turning your way soon. Damn. 😕
And, yes!, being without the phone, even for a short time, is hard to deal with. Friggin’ everything is on it. It’s like being lost in space or something.

I felt like the next thing I was going to have to do was churn butter or something. I have to admit, I’ve been wondering why all of this shit keeps happening to me. I have the worst luck of anyone I’ve ever known. I swear I’m cursed! Hell, I didn’t even mention ALL of things that have happened over the past few days……

Man, I’m sorry. Churning butter sucks! Seriously, I hope things get better. 😊

Thanks Vic. I will have a new one tomorrow… but it’s just not soon enough. I feel like I lost a hand or something!

I would feel the same way! So glad it’s only a small time without it.

I hate starting over with a new phone. some button won’t be in the same place or something and I’ll be frustrated for weeks until I get used to all that crap!

omg, same! I upgraded not too long ago and I was cursing the new phone. Not all my apps went on it and I couldn’t remember half my passwords. It’s a total pain in the ass…

I’m hoping it goes at least mostly smoothly. My husband can be a pain in he ass, but he’s really good with technology… have to keep him around!

Hang in there my blogging friend. I hope you reconnect with your followers you lost.

That’s the sad thing — I don’t think I’ve lost people who follow me — I think I’ve lost people I follow! I was checking around today because a friend of mine hadn’t posted for a few days… but it turns out she did and I was no longer getting notifications because I wasn’t following her anymore! I read her blog every day! Totally messed up!

I would be lost without my phone, too. I use the calendar really often and I have a thousand different appointments coming up, so if I didn’t have the reminders, I’d be screwed! I did make a post earlier today and didn’t see you comment, so WP must have chosen me as of its victims. It’s been doing slightly weird stuff to me lately, too.

Yes! Calendar reminders. They are essential to me. I do have as much stuff as possible tied to my google account (contacts list, calendar, etc.) so I can access most things through my laptop, too. But reminder alerts aren’t the same… obviously if I don’t have the laptop in front of me, I don’t see the reminder! And I can’t have my laptop with me in the car. Well, I could but I would have no internet… so I might as well just bring a fucking slate and some chalk! Damn, the zillions of things that have gone wrong over the last few days are just… ridiculous. I’d love to have a few things go right for a change!

I used to use the google calendar too, but for some reason I could seem to get into it. I’m sorry you’ve lost everything – I can only imagine how stressful that must be!

I actually haven’t lost much. (Other than my mind.) Honestly, google saved me. More than once. Maybe I’ve found religion. The church of google.

Oh… and by the way, on my phone, I use a different calendar app — not the google one. I don’t like it. But it’s linked to my google account so even when my phone bites the dust, I still have everything… that’s the magic of google.

Ohh I’ll have to look into that! Hail the Mighty Google.

Of course, you have an evil iPhone, don’t you? I’d tell you what I use but I don’t know if it’s available to non-android users. 🙂

Here is to a better end of the week! You got this. Loads of people complain about how screwy WP is. It takes them a while to sort their sh*t out-but they do eventually. Hang in there!

Thanks. The WP thing is kind of annoying but so many other things are worse right now anyway… I’d probably be better off focusing on the WP annoyances!

I’m pretty sure it’s in one of the two packages (hehe packages) that was just delivered… but I don’t even want to deal with it until John (Mr. Technology) gets home.

Knowing me… with my luck… I’d probably fuck something up! I kind of hate it… the phone. But I hated the one that died when I first got it, too. I don’t like change. Even with phones. (Although I’d really like the rest of my life to change…)

I always love getting a new phone! But I’m a huge dork, too. Plus I haven’t switched brands in forever so…

Well, I’m a huge dork, too… but I really loved my phone… and getting the next version wasn’t an option for a few reasons… so yeah… it sucks. The last one wasn’t the same brand as the one before that either… but the one that just died was my favorite… boo.
