They told me you were dangerous but I was never a careful girl.
I adored your devilish smile and your mischievous stare.
You knew in an instant I was powerless.
I was yours to take. Yours to have.
I let you take my hand
And without hesitation I took my place behind you,
My knees beside your hips, my arms around your waist.
I held on tight and closed my eyes
And felt the wind as you drove…
As you took me away from here.

About what sandra thinks
Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.
Love it! And of course the idea of escape is always on my mind! Maybe crazy Aunt Meg could ride in the side car? You could just drop me off somewhere… 😀

I should have said me, not you….I was daydreaming, lol. A vacation from it all sounds wonderful.
You’re welcome! It was lovely. 💜

Oh, that’s a fun feeling, riding on the back of a motorcycle. It’s been ages since I have. Wonderful poem!

I had a friend with a bike in high school. He used to give me rides home sometimes.

My story sounds creepy… Haha! The dad of these two little girls I used to babysit had a motorcycle and he picked me up a few times to bring me to his house to watch the kids.

Oh, and he was a dentist. Not that that has anything to do with this… 😀

ha ha, but I guess you don’t think of a dentist as being wild enough to drive his babysitter on the back of his bike. 😀

Love this Sandra. He’s both dangerous but at the same time, he saves her from the place she’s in.
