Spring comes to life, blossoming under blue skies
Summer brings the heat but humidity too high
Fall is often a relief
But it soon turns to grief
When winter comes and everything dies

Too true. Every season has its ups and downs. Nice Limerick my friend.

Not necessary that things only die in winter. Winter has its own beauties.
There should be changes, there should be seasons, so that we understand the difference between them.

Oh winter used to be my favorite season. There are good things and bad about all sessions. This is just what made a good poem to me last night…

Winter sucks. Though, after the dread and darkness comes rebirth, so I guess there’s no light without the dark.

But sometimes there’s dark with no light. Oh, that’s just in my head… 😋

Oh my god, kill me now! Lol! This is a fantastic limerick. I couldn’t work in all the seasons. 😀

All I wanted was to get to my last line. I wrote it immediately, being so morbid and all…. The rest was only to get there. But I do like how this turned out…

It’s perfect! And kinda snarky. Which I love!

Exactly! At the end it should say “bite me”.

YES! That would be just the right finale!

It’s raining here again, I have to have another little surgery on Friday so this captures my mood perfectly today. And it’s very well written

Thanks. A bit of rain here, too. Sorry to hear about Friday… 😦 But maybe you can get another hair-washing? Will be thinking of you. ♥

I would seriously kill to be able to take a shower. Yeah, maybe on the hair washing…

What if you had a shower stool? I had to use one at the hospital after my c-section… Shower was really too small for it, but it was worth it anyway.

It’s the stupid drainage tubes and dressings over the wound. Just took vac off today. I think I’m going to at least do a partial, I have to get this bra thing off for awhile. I’m kind of down today, just sore and tired…

Oh, of course… I clearly did not think that suggestion through. I’m sorry you’re feeling down… sending hugs (and cupcakes?)

I’ve been okay today so far… of course, the kids had a half day of school today so I’ve had barely a minute to think… Oh, and appointment tomorrow… always anxious about that…

Partial showers (became an expert after two weeks of “two half-showers” daily gymnastics) and if you can have your lovely “hair-washer” run a sponge over your back will make you feel so much better 🙂 Hugs
Thank you Sandra for letting me borrow your comment box to talk to dear Diane

The last line is my favourite…what does that say about me? 😉
LikeLiked by 1 person
Oh, it’s my favorite, too. I wrote it first and then stared at it for a long time until I finally came up with the rest. So… I guess it says the same thing about me as it does about you…

Am I the only weird one who loves fall and winter? 😀

I used to really love winter… and fall, too. But now I think it’s too dark for me… not enough sunlight/daylight. I think that gets me down. Maybe I have seasonal affective disorder??

Ohh I can’t stand too much sunlight /daylight…I prefer the cloudy days!
