The brightness blinds me
Yet I can’t avert my eyes
I’ll just wear my shades
can I help you find something?

Don’t go into the light!!

🙂 Oh, I wasn’t thinking this way! Crap… this is probably what everyone thinks… I’m all negative and moody! I was thinking dark=sad light=happy. Trying to be more positive… Oh the irony! LOL

Lol!! No, I was just being silly. I think it sounds positive. Like light that’s too bright when you come out of a tunnel. So you put on your shades.

It’s okay… 😀 I’m seriously laughing because Ms. Negativity over here (that’s me)… was trying to look on the bright side and I didn’t even realize it could still be interpreted as negative! It’s like, a part of me that pops up whenever, even when unintended! LOL!! Man, there is something wrong with me!

Lol! But nothing’s wrong with you. It’s me who interpreted it like that! 😳

🙂 Well, as soon as I saw it, I thought, that’s exactly what it sounds like! LOL. Of course, we do often tend to think the same…

Ahhh… You can say it… It sucks! I know it sucks… I can’t write at all this week. I even tried to be positive and I think it came out wrong! (And my FF isn’t even ready yet… I just took a 30 minute second shower of my day because that’s where I think of things… But no. 😠

It does not suck! But the shower….Oh my word that’s funny! The more you worry about it sometimes the worse it gets. Go get an iced coffee and drive around blasting the radio for a half hour! 🚔

Yeah, my kids love when I do that. (NOT) Oh, and Friday at 3:10pm… it’s already rush hour around here. I might get killed driving around at this hour. LOL 😀

Yeah it’s like that here, too! Oh we’ll dance party in the living room? 🎶💃

I finally finished (ff). No idea if I did a good job or not… I just… ugh… I don’t know. I need to take up drinking. LOL

This made me smile 🙂

Yay! Making people smile makes me happy. I should have been a comedian. 😀

You are a comedian. Now you just need to get the money from people’s wallets to come and see you!

I don’t even mind if it’s all in ones! Oh, wait, does that joke only work in the US??

I get the joke, but we Brits wouldn’t say that! 🙂

You think this sucks? I beg to differ! I love the idea of looking cool while gazing at the light. 🙂

I truly appreciate you and your thoughts! I have been struggling to write all damn week. I think at this point, I feel like it all sucks! I’m glad to know everyone doesn’t see it that way… 🙂

I also struggle to write at times, and get down on myself when I can’t seem to ‘generate’ anything. During those times, I manage to convince myself that I will never be able to write again! You’re a great writer…trust me, I know. 🙂

Aww, you’re very sweet. Thank you again. 🙂 I understand what you mean — will I ever write anything decent again?? I recently went back and read some of the earlier poetry I posted and I love some of it so much more than any poetry I’ve written lately!

I think we’re both too hard on ourselves. 🙂 Creativity seems to ebb and flow, and it’s futile to try to control it. I also prefer some of my earlier writing to the pieces I’ve written more recently, but I wonder if I’m just being nostalgic?

Nostalgia could be it… or part of it, anyway. I feel like I have no muse. But then, I’m not sure I ever did…
LikeLiked by 1 person
I don’t really have a muse either. I try to find inspiration in every little thing instead.

Sometimes, my real life is not the best source of inspiration… unless I want to write annoyed, depressing things. Ha! 😀 Sometimes, my inspiration is from a fictional character or story I made up!

Inspiration doesn’t have to be from your own life. Most of the time, mine doesn’t come from my own life either. I used to live vicariously through the characters in the books I read. 🙂

My real life makes for kind of negative, depressing writing lately… so yeah, I’m finding inspiration elsewhere before everyone who reads thinks I’m curled up in a ball in my closet. 🙂

I’m sorry to hear that. Hope things start looking up for you soon, Sandra.
