I never thought
I would find you
Maybe you found me
I never need to know
Which way is real
I only need to know
That it happened
The night we met
Those eyes of yours
They smiled at me
With just a look
You made me blush
Your hand held mine
My heart swelled
You shared your story
And listened to mine
We laughed together
All our loneliness and
Every drop of sadness
Melted away
We wanted to stay
Until the sun appeared
Or possibly forever
But the world interfered
I hated to go
Endings bring my tears
But I promise you
Someday I will
Kiss your forbidden lips
It’s wistful and beautiful! ❤️

Aw, yeah, I hear that. I hope you’re feeling better at least?

Yeah…. it lingers, this terrible virus, but I’m way better than I was for those 2 horrible days!

Thank you! It’s been a stressful start – not because of the job, but the sheer bureaucratic hideousness of just trying to get up and running in an organisation that laid off most of its back office support… Getting there now though 🙂

Well, I think every.job is stressful at the beginning. But I’m glad it’s not terrible! (I worry when I get a job it will be… but, of course, I worry about everything… 🙂 ) if you need a remote assistant, I’m available. For a fee. 😋

I did wonder in my last job about the feasibility of sub-contracting everything out, and just spending my time writing instead… can’t really do that with this one! But, just in case, maybe you’d better send me your resume!

Hey, there, very soulful! Probably just the Nyquil talking? Hope you’re better, I almost feel normal again, two whole weeks later. The little one whom I think started it all is fine, of course! This viral thing was mean!! 🙂

Ahh… I was re-reading probably my favorite piece of fiction I’ve ever written… and there was a bit of a forbidden situation… and this came out of my head. 🙂
Still coughing… sort of gross… but getting better!

Yeah, the first days were tough. I debated about the trip but figured I wasn’t that contagious after all this time…

It’s a wonderful poem and piece of fiction. Sad for the character, it’s fiction and not reality. Great job Sandra!
