I tell you everything
I’m an open book
But your words are few
So much mystery
I want to trust you
And your love for me
But when you hold back
What lives inside you
I wonder what
You could be hiding
Then I see your smile
And you touch me
Your beautiful kisses
Make me tremble
And I forget
That I don’t know
What you’re thinking
I only know the pieces
You let outside
But I want
The inside too
Tell me more

Sandra is a writer, sometimes blogger, poet, artist, emotional disaster. She thinks far too much and sleeps far too little. Sandra lives in the Northeastern U.S. but dreams of an oceanfront home in Italy, but she would settle for a non-oceanfront home in Italy. She loves books, brutal honesty, coffee, and the color black. She hates insincerity, beer, whipped cream, and facebook. And she is uncomfortable talking about herself in the third person.

    Lovely write. It is disturbing when one person provides so much information and the other remains a mystery. I don’t think everything in one’s past needs to be revealed.

    Vey well written. I think it’s partially a guy thing. They jus don’t say as much out loud, specially what they “feel.” It takes them along time from my experience.
