I’m sure your expectation for R, my lovely readers, was romance. And that was my intention. But it didn’t quite work out that way… although this is romantic. And there’s plenty of romance to be found on this blog anyway…

run.

r is for run.

Take my hand
Look at me and listen
You can always hear me
Without a word spoken
And I read your thoughts
Like they’re my own
My eyes light up
Your smile grows
It’s time for us to go
Escape the mess
We never meant to make
Maybe it’s selfish
And definitely scary
But you’re beside me
And I’m beside you
It doesn’t have to be easy
It only has to be us
Together
Hand in hand
Deep breath
and
Run
