Limerick challenge: Birth
He cannot stop thinking of her –
One day is clear, the next a blur.
But hate is born of love –
Must have below to be above.
Is she joy or tragedy? He’s not sure.

Oh… that is a great thought! I think I’m going to have to investigate. In my head. Better put on the hip boots.

Don’t laugh. I fly fish. 😀 Shit, I can’t even write that without laughing! But it’s true!

🙂 I was going to say you didn’t have to tell me if it was for some weird fetish thing… so fly fishing is way better than anything I was thinking. (Seriously, something is wrong with me!)

Thank you. I like Meg’s suggestion that it could be the beginning of a story…

Yeah, I read that. I think it could. Let it develop in your head. Write some notes too. Sometimes I get a little spark, write down soem ideas, and let it simmers for a week or two. Do that with poems as well.

Oh yeah, me too. I have a bunch of little docs and lists and snippits. It’s interesting to me that when I return to an old thought, I can see where my original thought was going, but, I find a very different (better?) direction.

That happened to me as well. That is why it is good to document them.

Still need to get the waterproof solution so I stop losing those ideas I get in the shower!

My showering consists of bad singing, so I don’t suffer from this.
